John Hook: Photographer, Oliberté Man, Dad Extraordinaire
This season, we were lucky to have this talented guy John Hook shoot our lookbook out in Hawaii, a connection made via a staffer who worked from there for almost a year. John comes with tons of experience and an incredible eye. What is even more awesome is that he digs our shoes and his family, so of course, we were stoked when he agreed to show both off.
Fun tidbit: A few months back, John, his wife Samantha, their daughter Bella, and a group of their friends took a plane to a van and explored the U.S. West coast. They took pictures on the way, and created a photographic book called “Wake Up We’re Here.” It’s the quintessential road trip, highlighted with awesome antics and seen through the eyes of a young family, their posse, and a gamut of camera lenses. You can peek their Facebook memories of it here. Happy Father’s Day.
